Student Councillors

The Student Council are a group of students elected by their peers. These students seek to make a positive difference in the school. 

Last year's major project was the installation of worm farms in response to a waste audit, which had highlighted some concerns about the amount of waste we as a school were making.

This year we hope to 'furnish' our outdoor learning space through fundraising.

We also identify needs outside our school, in our wider community. We support charities chosen by the student councillors and respond to international crises, such as the Nepal earthquakes.

The councillors are expected to model leadership in our school. This year they have already organised and led a wheels day and an easter egg hunt, with more events to come. They also lead our whole school assemblies.

They are a much valued group within our school.
