What Now

What Now
The children’s TV show What Now came to Upper Hutt recently. They were filming part of their show called Slam! All the year 4 classes attended, along with a number of other children from around Upper Hutt. They got to see the involved process of putting a show together, got to take part in loads of activities and got up close and personal with loads of foam and purple and green gunge. After watching two army personnel play Pack Your Pants, the kids all got to take part in Blast a Ball. The fifty students that got a ball then got to play Hold the Line, with the top ten then going on to the final activity Slammed! Caleb Grant, from room 4, made into the top ten and was one of the three fastest children through the Slammed! obstacle course. As a result of this, he qualified to go to Christchurch in September for the filming of the national final of Slammed! Congratulations Caleb and good luck. The screening of the Upper Hutt Slam! Show is expected to be on Sunday September 5th.
